As our guests at the Cabin at Blackberry Spring, you’re invited to partake in the year ‘round delights of Blue Ridge Mountain living. In early spring and summer, enjoy fresh produce, hand picked by you from our garden by the old barn, harvest luscious wild blackberries in late July and early August, collect black walnuts and apples in the fall, and take home a pumpkin from our annual pumpkin patch! From picking wildflower bouquets and hunting for the legendary fairy stones, to catch and release fishing at the big pond, you’ll have an unforgettable country experience. A late afternoon hike to the high meadow west of the cabin will reward you with a glorious mountain sunset and spectacular views of the Blue Ridge.
And be sure to check out the websites listed for many area attractions. From antique shopping, to wine and brewery festivals, to exploring the Blue Ridge Parkway and Virginia’s famous Fairy Stone Park, there’s much to do in this beautiful corner of historic Virginia!
